Interesting book to read if you're into the concept of Reincarnation.
James Webster was born in Tonbridge, Kent, England in 1935. From an early age he became interested and fascinated by the mysteries of life and has spent nearly 50 years in research, enquiry and discovery from much personal experience.
Being born in what would be recognised as a "haunted house", paranormal phenomena was soon experienced. He later turned to practising the skills of conjuring, and with membership to The Magic Circle he spent some years as a professional artiste touring the Theatres and Clubs and appearing on Television shows with his magic act. This proved to be a valuable asset when he came to investigate the paranormal in more depth and segregate the ‘true’ from the ‘false’
James had, over the years, been reading and studying the sciences, philosophy, psychology, parapsychology and many paranormal subjects, with the jackpot question always in mind: What happens to us when we die? And what reliable evidence do we have to answer this profound question which involves every person on Earth?
The book, "The Case Against Reincarnation - A Rational Approach" presents his case against reincarnation with fine backup evidence from a wide input - past and present - to provide the reader with a wealth of information to guide them out of the reincarnation jungle and into the light of more positive and acceptable understanding.
Hope those who read this enjoy it!

NASA offers fellowships to search for aliens

Published: Friday, September 05, 2008
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration, famous for its manned missions to the moon, announced the creation of the Carl Sagan Postdoctoral Fellowships in Exoplanet Exploration on Wednesday.
The fellowship is named after the late astronomer who popularized science through his books and television appearances.
The fellows will search for life on planets outside our solar system, the so-called exoplanets, more than 300 of which have been discovered since 1994.
READ ON..................
"We're learning an enormous amount," said Charles Beichman, director of NASA's Exoplanet Science Institute. "We know the rate of star formation. Ten years ago, we didn't know about the fraction of stars with planets. Now we know . . . 10 per cent have Jupiters and in a few years we'll know about Earths.
"How many of those worlds have life? That's a slightly longer-term question, but is absolutely something that 21st century science can accomplish," he said.
Now that's an attitude thats more like it!!!!!!!!!!!!

Testing the Heavens

Hi
Science V Religion or belief - the debate goes on and on and on.........
The Guardian's Mark Lawson writes
"Religious believers, when mentioning heaven, have traditionally cast their eyes skywards, but the possibility of an afterlife may now be proved by looking down towards the ground. Doctors at Southampton University are placing pictures in resuscitation areas that can only be seen from the ceiling. These will test the stories of defibrillated patients, who claim they have looked down on the crash teams attending to their lifeless bodies".
Read on................. and post your comments or theories on why some of us believe in life after death and some of us clearly don't!
