Secret files on UFO sightings have been made available for the first time by the Ministry of Defence.
The documents, which can be downloaded from the National Archives website, cover the period from 1978 to 1987.
They include accounts of strange lights in the sky and unexplained objects being spotted by the public, armed forces and police officers.
One man explained in great detail his "physical and psychic contact" with green aliens since he was a child.
The writer said that one of them, called Algar, was killed in 1981 by another race of beings as he was about to make contact with the UK

I for one watched the news report with avid interest and I'm afraid to say not surprised by the attitude of the news editors in conveying the article in a derogotory way! Apparantly most of the reports had not been followed up or investigated due to either a lack of nterest or a lack of man power - SHAME!

I had several acquaintances see over 20 spheres in the skies about Dallas last week. What they described sounds just like what a group of 20 of us saw last year.

Sounds interesting. What did they actually see? was it reported to the authorities?
I saw and recorded something a year or two ago that was similar, but not as close up or with as many.
We haven't gotten to talk much yet. I know him to be very analytical and a bit of a doubter in these realms.
This is the text of the e-mail he sent: Hi all,
Today's been a very exciting day. After all these years, Carter and I finally got the chance to see some bona-fide UFO's flying around over Dallas this afternoon. 22 to be precise.
It first started out with 3 very bright lights moving in triangular formation across the sky, blinking out, then blinking in, staying perfectly still for a good 10 minutes in the sky while changing their formation from triangular to a straight line, then back to triangular… then they moved slowly back across the sky in the same direction they came from.
Then a few minutes later another one (bright light) appeared and just remained completely still in the sky for a few minutes before heading off in an easterly direction.
Then a few minutes later another one came across the sky from west to east kind of speeding up, then slowing down, then speeding up and kind of zig zagging leisurely, before just blinking out.
Then 2 more basically just raced by first going east quite slowly, then darting off south going very fast.
Then about 30 minutes later a formation of four black oblong objects appeared out of no-where at a much lower altitude than the bright lights and just hung out in the sky without moving but just changing formation configuration and kind of rocking back and forth… first starting out in a straight line, then into a box, then into trapezoidal patterns before heading south in a straight line. This was about the moment I ran in to get my camera...
Then an entire formation of 10 dark objects flew across the sky following the path of a chemtrail that had just been laid down a few minutes earlier by a jet. This formation had 3 out in front, one off to the left, and then a cluster of 6 kind of pointing in an arrow.. The one off to the left kept appearing and disappearing every few minutes, each time in different spots. The cluster and triangular formation changed configurations several times before tightening their cluster and flying right into the tail of the chemtrail. They were visible inside the chemtrail for a few minutes before getting obscured. These objects were most definitely circular and about half the size of the jet that had just laid out the chemtrail a few minutes earlier. This set was also travelling way to slow to be aircraft, again referencing the speed of the jet that had just laid out the trail a few minutes ealier.
Then about 5 minutes ago another dark circular one just floated by going with the wind before darting off to the south (perpendicular to the wind) really fast.
Pretty cool eh :-)
